Although I just started reading this book, I am already engaged. The prologue and the quotes from the main characters added an interesting preview effect. I enjoyed the Horseshoe Curve connection and the comment on the decaying morals of the 1890s. That must happen every decade.

  1. Mom, wait until you see how much influence Pennsylvania has on the World's Fair. I wish there were more pictures, though. I'd like to see the evolution of the Chicago throughout.

    It's truly amazing how the World's Fair truly changed Chicago's culture, and civilization, really. From worker's wages to clean drinking water to cleaning up sewage, it's really fascinating what the Fair, really was able to accomplish
